The preliminary entry list for the TUDOR Championship event at Long Beach has been released: here 13 Prototypes and 10 GTLM's. Less cars at Long Beach than there was last year for ALMS. :/ |

Its quality though. To many GTD cars, and after the mess at sebring PC needs to have a 1 race suspension as a class lol. |

I'd say the two Speedsource Mazda's are far from "quality"...

meh. They will get there with there car. If they had a 1/4 of the budget audi did with there deisel i think they'd have it up and running by now |

The merger has seen a massive spike in car counts, with near-capacity grids at Daytona and Sebring and likely to continue throughout the season. It was enough to split off PC and GTD into a standalone race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, along with many events not featuring all four classes. Despite some people’s opinions, it’s a good problem to have. Im for sure not going to Laguna Seca now. This is the dumbest idea ever. Even for free tickets, it is still not worth it to go. Only PC and GTD at Laguna. I dont even get the top classes. What a joke. |

Wait I thought all classes were racing at Laguna? But just split into two races... P/GTLM and PC/GTD. edit. Looked it up, All classes are racing at Laguna. two 2 hour races with the classes split as mentioned above. Edited by Maynard S4, Mar 21 2014, 06:48:02 PM.

Toad you have to look further into it man. 30 seconds after reading what you posted i found it to not be true. All 4 classes will be there. P and GLTM will race together, and PC and GTD will race together. Split races because of the car counts to race at the same time lol |

And you complained about all the cautions at sebring lol. Cant put that many cars on that track. Let alone having not enough pit stalls for 1/2 the teams. Kinda stupid. |

I'd still go if it was me. Although I don't like the DP's I'd still love to see all the cars on display in the two GT classes, And the beautiful P2 machines.

Come on thats not a valid argument. Most of the cautions as we know shouldnt even have been full course cautions. And the ones that were, are due to really bad driving. So Im not taking that argument into this discussion. If the ALMS could have multiple classes and rarely have problems, then why can't this new series? |

Hopefully the field isn't thinned out too much by the time it gets to me for the COTA race. Although, they are trying to do the TUSC and WEC race all in the same day.  A 2:45 race for the TUSC and then a 6 hour race for the WEC. I guess it would be OK if there was a few less cars in the TUSC race.
